Survey

I was talking to a co-worker at work the other day. Apparently he’s going to pilot a large survey on the popular view on our company’s products. I must say I don’t envy the man. Large scale surveys are to my best knowledge generally very time-consuming and sort of boring. My advice to was, and is, to use some sort of pre-fab survey tools. It’s, and forgive my choice of words, a bitch to put together a reliable questionnaire. If you don’t get every question right down to the single letter the answers and final results is going to be useless. I know what I’m talking about here. When I did my final essay back at school I had to re-interview more than fifty people just because some of the questions weren’t sharp enough and my professor deemed the answers incomparable. No, I you don’t know your way around these things like the butcher does a knife you’re a lot better off with a professionally manufactured survey tools from people who do this for a living.
